The first time I went to Egypt I was only ten years old. Together with my Mom, Julie we decided to take on a new adventure by volunteering to help run the summer camp for the children of Mottamodia Cairo. The love and kindness you receive from these beautiful children is something that can only be understood by experiencing it and that is what has kept me retuning year after year for the last 16 years. I am truly privileged to be a trustee of this amazing charity. These children have very little and lead such different lives to the ones we have become so accustomed to living yet you would never guess it as they radiate love and always have a smile on their faces. It really puts everything into perspective. I am truly proud to say I have a second family in Egypt.
